The Beginning of Something Beautiful: Our Story, Our Vision

And here we are—just a few days before launch—writing our very first blog about our "baby," Cedar and Rose Collective. It's funny to think back to the early days—how our conversations started, how our ideas were just seeds. And now, we’re standing on the edge of something we’ve poured our hearts and souls into. But let’s rewind and start from the very beginning—the moment when this dream came to life.

It all started when Johana and I met at the gym, both working as Personal Trainers. It wasn’t just a professional connection, but something much deeper. We were so similar in our beliefs, in how we saw the world and people—there was a certain magic in that. I think we both knew that our meeting wasn’t just a coincidence. We were meant to cross paths.

At the time, I had an idea. I always felt that transforming the physical body wasn’t enough. The body is such a complex mechanism, and making one change alone won’t bring lasting results. That’s when I thought about using Johana’s knowledge of Human Design to help my clients. Human Design felt like a key—unlocking something deeper, something I couldn’t reach before.

So, I asked Johana to help me with a small project. Little did I know that, according to her Human Design, she needs to be invited to collaborate for things to unfold naturally. And when I asked her, she came back with so much more than I ever expected. I remember sitting on her sofa, chatting about life in general.. Then she said, “I know this might sound crazy, but…” And before we knew it, we were brainstorming business names, colour palettes, and writing our business plan. Our journey started right there—seven months ago. Cedar and Rose Collective was born, and it has never felt more alive. It’s been a wild ride, and this "baby" has already grown so much.

From day one, we’ve faced doubts and discouragement from many people. But we understand—when something is unfamiliar, it’s hard to grasp. Self-perception often lies at the core of that resistance. And that’s okay. We’re here to make a change in people’s lives. We’re here to make a change in the world.

So, what is Cedar and Rose Collective? We keep saying it’s not just a brand—it’s a movement.
